IEI New PICMG 1.3 Full-size CPU Card with Support for the Intel Core i3/i5/i7 Processors

IEI Technology Corp. announces the launch of the PCIE-Q57, a PICMG 1.3 Full-size CPU card with support for the Intel Core i3/i5/i7 processors with the Intel Q57 chipset.  It is suited to high performance applications for gaming, digital video editing, workstations and network computing where security and reduced system downtime are critical.

The IEI PCIE-Q57 is a standard PICMG 1.3 form factor SBC supporting 32nm Intel Core i3/i5 and 45nm Intel Core i5/i7 processors. The PCIE-Q57 excels in data and video transmission throughput with the on board Intel Q57 chipset. A system maximum of 8 GB of DDR3 SODIMM 1333/1066MHz memory will satisfy the requirements of the most data-intense, multitasking applications.

With Intel Active Management Technology 6.0  built into the Intel® Q57 chipset, IT managers can remotely diagnose and repair problems, as well as provide added security for the PCIE-Q57.  Data security and availability are enhanced by six SATA II interfaces with support for RAID 0, 1, 5, 10 functions.

Abundant I/O interfaces provide extensive expansion options and network connectivity. These include two RS-232 serial ports, FDD and LPT connectors, dual GbE LAN ports, fourteen USB 2.0, one infrared interface, one digital I/O, an internal audio connector supporting the IEI AC-KIT883 7.1 channel HD audio kit, and a VGA port.
